How Overcrank works
Card in, organized dailies out. Here’s a typical shoot day: copy the card safely, file it the way your edit expects, and have it land on the editor’s drive without you touching it again.
- 1A shoot day comes off the camera card
- 2Drivetrain copies it to the shoot drive and checks every file
- 3Crankshaft files it as dailies: day, camera, stills
- 4Cruise Control sends the dailies on to the editor’s drive
- 5Day 2: copy the next card, run the same saved instruction, and it’s sent on by itself
